Into Serengeti
After breakfast, travel via the Ngorongoro highlands with a game drive en route. Arrive in the Serengeti for an afternoon exploration. The sheer abundance of wildlife will amaze you.
Serengeti exploration
A full day game drive with picnic lunch. Follow the migration, search for lions on kopjes, hippos in pools, and endless plains dotted with acacia. Option to return to lodge for hot lunch.
Olduvai & Ngorongoro highlands
Morning game drive in Serengeti, then drive towards Ngorongoro. Optional visit to Olduvai Gorge (archaeological site) and a Maasai village to learn their living culture.
Ngorongoro Crater
Descend into the crater floor. Open grassland, Lerai forest, soda lake – home to 25,000+ mammals including rhino, lion, buffalo, and flamingos. Picnic at Ngoitokitok. Ascend late afternoon, drive to Arusha.
Departure
